XFA to Air on Ego Channel on Israeli TV
One of the Fastest-Growing Sports in History Comes to one of the Hottest young action oriented male satellite broadcast and cable channels.
Las Vegas, NV - June 10, 2008 - The Xtreme Fighting Association (XFA) announced that the international television distribution firm of Matthew Ody & Associates has secured an agreement with Ananey Communications to air XFA events on their Ego Channel.
This is the second international TV distribution agreement Matthew Ody & Associates has secured for XFA. The first was with Skytel in New Zealand. Each country has unique distribution or broadcast requirements, requiring each to be contracted separately. The Ego Channel is even more unique as it is the first Israeli channel specifically tailored to the action oriented "hot-blooded" 18-45 year old male audience. The XFA events will be dubbed and/or subtitled in the local language, as well as in Arabic and Russian, for further distribution.

The Ego channel first aired in 2002 and offers its viewers leading prestigious events like the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC), the European League - Cage Rage, WFC, IFC, TNA, the World Combat League (WCL) and now will include the Xtreme Fighting Association (XFA) events in their programming.

The first mixed martial arts (MMA) debut event aired live on network TV on May 31, 2008, the same night as XFA 2. Over 6.5 million viewers watched history in the making as it tripled all expectations, blew away the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, and exceeded normal ratings in the otherwise sagging network demographic of 18-34 year old males by 357%, according to ratings released by CBS.
