The XFA to debut earlier at the Las Vegas Hilton

Las Vegas, Nevada (December 20, 2007) – The Xtreme Fighting Association™ (XFA) announced their debut event has been moved up and will be held March 22, 2008 at the Las Vegas Hilton.

Christopher Reis, President of Reis Sports Entertainment and the XFA stated,

"The quantity and quality of professional fighters applying to fight in our events has been remarkable in the few weeks since announcing our tryouts. We are equally surprised by the many requests for tickets we've already received. We decided to move up our debut and add more events to our schedule. The Hilton Center, an ideal location for our event, is nearly square, allowing everyone a nice view of the ring.”

The Xtreme Fighting Association (XFA) is a professional stand up, combat style, fighting association, with the excitement of Mixed Martial Arts without any ground fighting. It's stand-up, knock em' down, or knock em' out fighting, where only the best men and women are left standing!

Applications are still being accepted for invitation only tryouts to be held in Las Vegas, January 19, 2008, however only a few spaces remain. Professional and experienced amateur male and female fighters ready to go professional will participate in various exercises that test a wide array of skills including speed, power, coordination, flexibility, and knowledge of the sport. They will also engage in sparring sessions with one another. After the tryouts, some of the fighters will be offered a contract to fight for the XFA and some fighters will be awarded with sponsorship packages from XFA's corporate sponsors.
